When you are using our services, you are trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility, and that is why we work hard to protect your information and put you in control. We do not store any data for more than a week, with the exception of payment data, which is required for financial reporting and dispute resolution.
Personally identifiable information is only used within the app and does not leave your phone. Anonymized location information is sent to our servers when you use the app. However there is no way to connect the information with a specific user. The anonymized data can be related to you only by examining the stored data within your phone. These anonymized data are deleted from our database every week, and none of the information collected is disclosed to anyone.
The data stored in your phone gets deleted when you start a new Meet Me request, because every request has its own anonymization token which is kept on the phone. All the data stored on the phone is also deleted if you ask the app to cancel the request (from the dashboard screen). Similarly, the data is also deleted when you uninstall the app.
